It appears a grudge match is being set up over in England by two of World Lethwei Championship’s top Light Middleweights. Overtime Heroics Lethwei posted a video about Artur Saladiak’s Light Middleweight World Lethwei Championship winning sequence where he knocked out challenger Saw Ba Oo to become the first World Lethwei Champion at that weight class. In the comments section, new WLC signing Toby Bindon seems to indicate that the weight difference between Saladiak and Saw Ba Oo was significant and that sparked a fuse in Saladiak, who decided to reply.

Saladiak stated “We were the same weight. You must be ready to fight big guys like me”, to which Bindon replied that being big “Being big has a lot of disadvantages like being stiff as a board and rigid”.

That preceded an intense back-and-forth where Saladiak called Bindon “a decent fighter that sells tickets in a night club in front of a few people” indicating that Bindon is not on his level. Saladiak concluded by accepting the challenge and states he is happy to beat Bindon on the way to reclaiming his World Lethwei Championship gold.

Bindon concluded by accepting the challenge and believes it should be a number one contender’s match with the winner getting a shot at current Light Middleweight World Lethwei Champion Sasha Moisa, who defeated Saladiak last August. It all sets up for exciting times in the Light Middleweight division when lethwei returns to live action.
