Zay Thiha is the founder and chairman of World Lethwei Championship, the world’s biggest bareknuckle fighting organisation. Zay Thiha is a reputable businessman in Myanmar and currently holds the role of Vice Chairman in Zaykabar Company Limited. He has has held roles in the Myanmar Archery Federation and Myanmar Equestrian Federation and has now set his sights on growing the sport of lethwei on a global scale.

Joe Kai Yi was born and raised in Burma. He continued his education in Singapore and the United States. While attending Cypress College pursuing a degree in international business, he decided to return to Burma to join his family businesses in mining and gemstones trading in 2009. He later found his interests in sports entertainment industry and property investment opportunities in Burma and Cambodia. Joe co-founded World Lethwei Championship with chairman and founder U Zay Thiha in 2016.

Zaw Zaw is a Burmese businessman with diversified interests across Myanmar. He is currently the chairman of Sein Man Myay Manufacture Company Limited and executive director of World Lethwei Championship.

Sein Phyo Hlaing is the vice-chairman of World Lethwei, a position he held since the company’s founding in 2016. Prior to WLC, he has 10 years of elite level event management experience with the biggest events in Myanmar. Sein Phyo Hlaing studied in medicine and oversees the organisation’s world-class medical standards and the safety of athletes. He is also extensively involved in modernizing Lethwei Events.

Zin Min Lwin is a Burmese businessman currently based out of Mandalay, Myanmar. He is the director of charcoal mining company Saint Nay Min Company Limited and executive director of World Lethwei Championship.

Gerald Ng

Gerald Ng

Chief Executive Office

Gerald Ng is a fast-rising sports professional with a decade of elite sports management and media experience. He leads the day-to-day operations of the organisation, including international expansion, shareholder management and broadcast reach. Ng previously held roles in sports broadcast with Eleven Sports Network and One Championship.
